Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is an American-born British sitarist as well as a music producer. She was awarded the British House of Commons' Shield in the year of her youngest and also the first female recipient. In addition to the nine Grammy awards, she was also the first musician of Indian origin to perform in the live ceremony. Anoushka is the emerging star of Indian sitar. She is a student as well as daughter of the famous Ravi Shankar. She was born London in 1982. In during her early years, she swam her time between London New Delhi.
